    Sushi was really good and really cheap. Definitely one of my favorite holes in the wall in newton. The staff was kind and responsive. If definitely come back

    It was sad to see the original Sushi Man place being torn down ,but happy to see them back in business (apparently for 2 years now!!). The ambiance is cozy, with around 7 tables and bar seatings. Very warm and welcoming. We ordered sushi sashimi lunch set, Gyudon and chirashi. Food has good flavor. The beef on Gyudon was slightly on the salty side but that's my personal preference. The owners were very friendly and service was great. I'd say the chirashi was on the pricey side, even as a dinner dish.
